Fantasy Improv
My roommate was the showrunner on a three night stage performance called Fantasy Improv: The Unbalanced Epic. The show was essentially three nights of live Dungeons and Dragons where they went through a short campaign created by the Dungeon Master played by my roommate. I was asked to create these posters for the show and these were displayed around our school campus to promote the show.
Video Awards 2018 (South Anchorage High School)
My High School has an annual video awards event where students can submit videos/short films. While I was attending, I was able to create a series of posters that were displayed around the school and posted around town. After I graduated I was asked if I could create a t-shirt design and get the shirts printed. So not only did I design their t-shirt, I also worked with a local print shop to make and ship several hundred t-shirts to be given out as prizes and sold to fund the class that ran the event. These were intentionally designed to be no more than three colors because of budget constraints.
Class Shirts (South Anchorage High School)
My High School asked me to create a series of shirts for a few of their (new at the time) classes. These were intentionally designed to be no more than 3 colors because of budget constraints due to limited printing colors and were to be done in a simple/modern/minimalist aesthetic to balance the coloring restrictions.
The Flattop Company
While in high school, I wanted to create an apparel company so I designed a few shirts that celebrated Alaskan life and activities. I lost many of the original files so there are some missing but the ones here are some of my favorites anyways and while the company didn’t succeed it taught me a lot. both about business and about design. there’s things to learn from failures just like there are things to learn from success.
